My name is Dillon, but you can call me Bubba.
I currently reside in the Greater Reno-Tahoe area. In 2016, I graduated from Cal Poly, SLO with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Film and History. I've worked in multimedia for the past 10 years and am currently a Director of Video Production.
The Outdoors & Photography
In my college years, my friends and I would backpack in the Lake Tahoe region—specifically Desolation Wilderness. We used old gear and weren't the most experienced, but we made it back alive with new memories and smiles each time. The older we got, the more adventurous we became, leading me and two of my best friends to summit Africa's tallest mountain, Kilimanjaro. I've climbed a few more peaks since that trip and plan to summit many more each year.
My interest in photography didn't begin until my first camera purchase in 2018. It was a Sony a6500 with a Sigma 30mm lens. This is what I took to Africa. Since then, my passion for photography has grown along with my arsenal of lenses and cameras. I'm excited to see what new climbs, hikes, and destinations my camera leads me toward. I hope you follow along!
